Faculty

We have a team of dedicated faculty members who have sufficient experience in delivering the Cambridge curriculum. Most of our teachers are Cambridge certified trainers, (CIDTL-Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning). Apart from CIDTL, our teachers are certified by Cambridge English department to train the learners for professional development English certification Exams.

We strongly believe that the finest quality professional development is one of the foundations of an effective school. Our faculty development programme enables staff to develop the sophisticated skills and knowledge they need to improve their practice which is vital to improving students learning. Similar to members of other professions, teachers and education support staff also need to be continuous learners, who see their own learning as being essential to their connection with the profession – rather than something that is incidental or optional. Intensive and appropriate professional development programs provide optimum opportunities for professional growth and the building of leadership capacity among staff.

At Sri Sankara Global Cambridge International School, we seek out to provide opportunities for all our staff to enhance their knowledge in their pertinent subjects, teaching learning practices, their capability to handle challenging situations, develop leadership, students engagement and safety.

Development programmes are designed for each staff member individually, based on their performance reviews and also based on their personal and professional interest. The programmes are a mix of in-house training programmes and those offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education Board.
